Cookies

Every cookie and browser storage item Spatia uses, what it does, and how long it lasts. Covers spatia.build and any tour published on it.
1. Your choice
One thing here needs your permission: advertising measurement, which counts whether an advert led to a tour request. It is off until you accept, either on the small bar at the bottom of the page or with the control below. Change your answer here at any time. Declining is remembered too, so the bar stops asking either way.
No answer given yet, so advertising measurement is off.
2. Strictly necessary - always on
These make the site work, so they need no permission. There is no way to turn them off and still sign in.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase (our authentication provider) | Keeps you signed in between page loads. Only present once you have an account and have logged in. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
spatia.cookie-consent | Spatia | Remembers your answer above, so the bar does not ask again. Stored in your browser rather than as a cookie, and never sent to Spatia. | Until you clear it, or the disclosure changes |
spatia_promo | Spatia | Set only if you arrive on a link carrying a promotional code, so the right price is applied when you reach checkout. Holds the code itself, a short label like BETA50, and nothing that identifies you. | 90 days |
spatia_campaign_invite | Spatia | Set only if you arrive on an invitation link, so the invitation still applies when you get round to signing up. Holds the invitation code and nothing else. | 90 days |
3. Advertising measurement - off until you accept
Accepting loads Meta's measurement tools. They record that a visit happened, and that a tour was requested, so advertising spend can be checked against results. They count conversions. They are not used to build a profile of you, or to follow you with adverts on other sites.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Identifies this browser so a conversion can be matched to an advert. | Up to 3 months |
_fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Stores the advert click that brought you here. Only set if you arrived from a Meta advert. | Up to 3 months |
Accept and then send the free-tour form, and Meta also receives a one-way hashed copy of your email address, so the conversion can be matched. The original cannot be read back from the hash. Decline and none of this happens.
4. Blocking them in your browser instead
The control above stops Spatia loading them. Browsers can also block cookies across every site, or site by site, in their privacy settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones stops sign-in working.
5. Tours published on Spatia
A published tour is images and a viewer. It sets no advertising cookies and does not track whoever an agent shares it with.
6. Changes and questions
If anything new sets a non-essential cookie, this page changes and earlier answers revert to off, because an old answer cannot carry over to a new question. Questions about this page, or the personal data behind it: hello@spatia.build. Personal data more broadly is covered in the Privacy Policy.
